Thank goodness for Tivo!
I was very interested in watching "The Path to 9/11," but NBC had Manning vs. Manning. How cool is that?!?!? So, I watched the 9/11 film later, and probably stayed up way too late!
So, I was reading Drudge's screaming headline, FOOTBALL RATINGS DOUBLE ABC '911' FUSS FILM. But, I am wondering how many people are out there like me who Tivo'ed the 9/11 show and watched the game live, and how the ratings people take that into account.
I guess to say I "enjoyed" the 9/11 show would be the wrong way to put it, but I did think it was a really solid movie, and in my opinion, the edits they made were fair. Okay, so Sandy Berger didn't call off the mission to capture Bin Laden, but it was still clear that someone in the administration did, and Berger still comes off as a simpering bureaucrat. I'm satisfied.
